Our Story

Surrender to the sea and join Culamar on a journey that brings the feelings, flavors and freshness of coastal Italy to historic Downtown Franklin. With a focus on sustainably sourced seafood and modern selections from both land & ocean, the menu at Culamar dives into authentic seaside Italian fare to capture the essence of being ‘al mare’ without leaving Tennessee. To complement the cuisine, the restaurant’s alluring beverage menu is buoyed with wines touched by the coast, along with a cocktail program featuring reimagined classics and Culamar signatures. 

Helmed by celebrated chef Frank Pullara, Culamar is the sister concept to Culaccino, the Italian restaurant beloved by Nashville-area locals and visitors alike since its opening in January 2021. Moored together with a shared love of quality ingredients, impeccable service and handmade dishes, Culamar and Culaccino can both be found on Downtown Franklin’s Main Street.
